Pay Property Taxes
2024 Property Tax Bills will go out on or around September 18th. They are due on November 18th. If for some reason you do not receive your bill in the mail, please contact our office or print your bill on our website.
As an added convenience, our office now offers multiple ways to pay:
- PAY BY PHONE: DIAL (770) 383-1006 AND PRESS OPTION #7. YOU WILL NEED YOUR 7 DIGIT BILL NUMBER LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE BILL
- PAY ON THE WEB VIA CREDIT CARD: YOU WILL NEED YOUR 7 DIGIT BILL NUMBER LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE BILL.
- PAY ON THE WEB VIA E-CHECK FOR A FLAT $5 FEE. YOU WILL NEED YOUR 7 DIGIT BILL NUMBER LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE BILL.
- COME TO THE OFFICE: BRING YOUR BILL STUB AND PAY BY CASH, CHECK, CERTIFIED FUNDS, OR CREDIT CARD.
- MAIL IN YOUR PAYMENT IN OUR RETURN ENVELOPE: YOU WILL NEED YOUR 7 DIGIT BILL NUMBER WRITTEN ON YOUR CHECK OR MONEY ORDER.

**Government Window, LLC is a third party automated payment service that accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover Card and debit cards. This third party vendor will charge a 2.5% service fee for each transaction. The fees charged for this service are at the discretion of Government Window, LLC. Clayton County does not receive any portion of this fee.
Please note the following:
- If multiple tax bills are being paid, the fee is charged for each tax bill. Tax Bills must be paid individually.
- If you have taxes due for multiple years, the oldest year must be paid first.
- If the bill is delinquent, a current payoff must be calculated with late fees.

Click on Make A Payment, which will then guide you to
the secure online payment screen.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: For all international customers desiring to pay their property tax bills electronically, please contact our office for processing information. Ask to speak with the Accounting Division.
